We are pleased to announce the launch of an online giving facility set up to support Cadeby Church, which can be accessed via this link:

Throughout the Coronavirus pandemic, volunteers have continued to open the church daily in line with all public health guidance but the Church’s main source of funding, Cadeby Fete, was cancelled in 2020 and a decision has been made not to hold a fete again in 2021.

This will mean a huge loss of income, as each fete can generate around £3,000 - the approximate figure required each year to keep the church running, including the cost of insurance, heating and lighting, equipment and grounds maintenance.

We are grateful to Cadeby Parish Council for their donation of £250 towards our annual churchyard mowing costs and we are inviting anyone who would normally attend, donate to, or help at the fete, to consider making a donation as well.

All money donated will go directly to the All Saints Cadeby Church Account and will be used exactly as the fete proceeds would be.

The online system allows for donations of £5, £10, £20 and £50, or any other amount, to be made at any time of year, or regularly if wished, and every £1 received will make a difference.  If you make a donation and pay UK tax we will be able claim a further 25% in Gift Aid at no extra cost to you.

Of course, we will still accept donations made by cheque, if you prefer.  These should be made payable to All Saints Cadeby Church Account and delivered to Daisy Cottage, Main Street, Cadeby for the attention of our Churchwarden, Janet Hicklin.

Whether you are able to donate or not, please remember that every one of you is welcome to spend time in the church and its grounds, for peace, prayer and contemplation, not only during these challenging times but, we hope, far into the future.
