Save the date - This year, Cadeby Fete will be held on the afternoon of Saturday 27th July hosted by Jane and Louis Massarella at Manor Farm.
More details nearer the time, but if you would like to be involved whether that be running a stall or helping set up, please let Claire Evans know at cjevans99@hotmail.co.uk or on 291248.
Foodbank - Many thanks for continuing to support Hinckley Area Foodbank by donating items to the Foodbank box in the church.
Since the beginning of the year, the villagers have donated 65kg. I know from first hand experience, how much your donations are appreciated.
At this time, Hinckley branch are in particular need of tuna, tins of fruit, sandwich type meat, cordials, long-life juice, jam and boxes of 40 tea bags.
Meet the Police - Just a reminder that PC James Cross will be at the Church Hall on Tuesday 26th March at 6 pm to meet residents and listen to local concerns.
Litter Pick - The Parish council, Cadeby Church and Cadeby Community Development Trust have combined forces to follow up a concern about litter in and around Cadeby.
We are linking with Market Bosworth and doing an organised LITTER PICK on Sunday 14th April, 2pm until 4pm. Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council will provide bags, litter pickers, gloves and hi-vis vests, they will also collect the rubbish on the following Monday.
We would love support from anyone interested, including children. We have an area we would like to cover, including Cadeby Rugby Club so there will be "safe" areas. We will base ourselves in Cadeby Church Hall from 1.45 and refreshments will be available.
When you arrive, we will assign you an area and hand out equipment.
We hope that this will be a fun, purposeful, community event.
