Cadeby Church will be hosting a harvest celebration service this Sunday, September 19, starting at 4pm.
We will be singing harvest hymns and hearing harvest memories from villagers with farming connections. There will be a colouring corner for children.
A collection will be held for the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution, which supports farm people going through difficult times, and we are also inviting contributions of non-perishable food, drink and personal care items for Hinckley Area Foodbank, which supports people in crisis across the borough.
The service will be followed by a bring and share harvest tea in the church or churchyard depending on the weather. Please bring along small cakes, biscuits, scones or savoury finger food for easy eating. Tea and coffee will be provided.
If you'd like to know more about arrangements and Covid measures in place please contact our Churhwarden, Janet Hicklin, at janet.hicklin@btopenworld.com
We look forward to welcoming you.
