TEMPORARY IMPLEMENTATION OF 30 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. It is expected that the Order will come into force on 1st October 2022 and have a maximum duration of nine months.
The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to four months.
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake various highway installations and maintenance works.
SCHEDULE 1
TEMPORARY IMPLEMENTATION OF 30 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION
Ashby Road, Osbaston – from 200m north of Bosworth Road to 300m south of Hall Lane
Hinckley Road, Cadeby – from Bosworth Lane to a point 500m south of Church Lane
Hinckley Road, Ibstock – from existing 50mph sign south of High Street to a point 75m north west of Overton Road.
Ibstock Road, Ravenstone – from a point 75m south of St Marys Lane, Snibston to its junction with Melbourne Road, Ibstock
Measham Road, Snarestone – from its junction with Appleby Lane to a point 750m north of Appleby Lane.

TEMPORARY IMPLEMENTATION OF 40 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION
Brascote Lane, Cadeby - from its junction with Hinckley Road for 200m
Bosworth Road, Osbaston - from its junction with Ashby Road for 200m
Hall Lane, Osbaston – from its junction with Ashby Road for 200m
Measham Road, Snarestone – from its junction with Atherstone Road, Measham to a point 450m south of Atherstone Road, Measham.
